The Fluidity of Memory

Memories are the remnants
of unreliable narrators and
unscrupulous memoirists;

and bitter adults about theirs.
Memory is both selective and imagined,
sometimes as fuzzy as 20/100 vision,
others, as sharp as Andy Rooney’s wit,
but real all the same.
