For today’s poem, use at least three of the six words listed below in your poem (title counts). Three is the minimum, but you know I’m going to try use all six of these:
- sidereal
- recruit
- magnetic
- compact
- whippoorwill
- carbon
Rhinestone Hope
A diamond’s “Before” picture,
who left her carbon footprint
wherever she went,
she possessed,
nonetheless,
a magnetic personality,
attracting polarizing opposites
who put her under pressure,
and placed her into a powderless compact,
from which she emerged–
still full of flaws.

Great use of the words, beautiful 🙂
Thank you so much…these kind of prompts are the hardest for me. I actually wrote this one on a plane in longhand!
